Some of you may have been hearing about wild brush fires in central florida- I just wanted to assure you that I'm safe and my neighborhood is fine. The fires are, however, about 45 minutes from me, and you can continue to pray for its control and for the families who have lost so much in these fires. See more about the fires here: http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/orl-turkeys1208may12,0,3887367.story
Also please pray for the thousands who have died, were injured or lost such a huge part of their lives in the earthquake in southwest China. See this article for more information: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/7397489.stm. All our our personnel there are fine, but our hearts are breaking for the 900 in the high school which collapsed; hundreds have died and more are trapped. There are so many more who need the intercession of our Father today.
Thanks for praying with us.
